How Brass: Birmingham scoring works
Brass: Birmingham is scored at the end of the canal era and again at the end of the rail era. Each time, you score your links first, then your flipped industries. Money doesn't score at the end, outside the introductory game.
| Category | Points |
|---|---|
| 🛶 Canal era links | Each link scores 1 per link icon in the two locations it connects. |
| 🏭 Canal era industries | The points in the corner of each flipped industry tile. |
| 🚂 Rail era links | Same as canals, for your rail links. |
| 🏗️ Rail era industries | The points on your flipped industry tiles at the end of the rail era. |
Breaking a tie
If players finish level, the highest income wins. If income is level too, the most money left wins, and if that's still level, it's a draw.
Using this score sheet
Do I need to go through every step?
No. Skip to the score sheet whenever you like and type straight into the boxes. Tap any row name to jump back into guided entry at that category.
What is the mistake offset for?
For a correction you spot after the fact. Add or take away the difference there instead of hunting for the right box. It can be positive or negative.
Are my scores saved?
Yes, in your browser's storage on this device. Close the tab and your game is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us.
Can I fill it in during the game?
Yes. Enter the canal era rows at the end of the canal era and come back for the rail era. The sheet is saved in between.
