🪐 Terraforming Mars score sheet

Final scoring in Terraforming Mars takes a while, mostly because of the cards. Go through it one category at a time and the sheet keeps the totals and settles ties. Your games are saved on this device only.

How Terraforming Mars scoring works

Your terraform rating is your base score. At the end of the game you add milestones and awards, then the board, then your cards.

CategoryPoints
🌡️ Terraform ratingYour TR at the end of the game.
🏅 Milestones5 per milestone you claimed.
🏆 Awards5 for first and 2 for second in each funded award. Ties are friendly. No second place in a 2-player game.
🌳 Greenery tiles1 per greenery you own.
🏙️ CitiesEach city scores 1 per adjacent greenery, whoever owns it.
🃏 Card pointsPoints on your played cards, including events and cards with resources.
⭐ Other pointsAnything your expansions add.

Breaking a tie

If players finish level, the most M€ wins. If that's level too, the most cards left in hand wins.

Using this score sheet

Do I need to go through every step?

No. Skip to the score sheet whenever you like and type straight into the boxes. Tap any row name to jump back into guided entry at that category.

What is the mistake offset for?

For a correction you spot after the fact. Add or take away the difference there instead of hunting for the right box. It can be positive or negative.

Are my scores saved?

Yes, in your browser's storage on this device. Close the tab and your game is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us.

Does it cover the expansions?

Most expansion points still land in TR, cards, milestones and awards. Anything else goes in the Other points row.
