🐦 Wingspan score sheet

Pick your expansions, add players, and enter scores one category at a time or straight onto the sheet. It adds everything up and calls the winner. Your games are saved on this device only.

How Wingspan scoring works

Wingspan is scored once, after the fourth round. Every player adds up the same categories, and the highest total wins. The base game has six categories, and the Oceania, Asia and Americas expansions each add one more.

CategoryWhat you count
🐦 BirdsThe points printed on each bird on your mat.
🎴 Bonus cardsWhatever each of your bonus cards says you earned.
🎯 End-of-round goalsYour points from the goal board, all four rounds together.
πŸ₯š Eggs1 point for each egg on your birds.
πŸ’ Food on cards1 point for each food token cached on your birds.
πŸƒ Tucked cards1 point for each card tucked under your birds.
🌺 NectarOceania only. Per habitat, most spent nectar scores 5 and second most scores 2.
πŸ—ΊοΈ Duet mapAsia Duet mode only. 1 point per token in your largest connected group.
πŸ“ˆ Hummingbird trackAmericas only. The points beside each of your five track markers, which can be negative.

Breaking a tie

If two or more players finish level, the one with the most unused food tokens wins. If they are still level after that, they share the win. The score sheet asks for unused food only when there is a tie at the top.

Nectar scoring in the Oceania expansion

Nectar you spend goes onto the habitat where you spent it. At the end of the game, look at each habitat separately. The player with the most nectar there scores 5 points and the player with the second most scores 2. You need at least 1 nectar in a habitat to score for it.

Ties work by adding up the points for the places the tied players take and splitting them evenly, rounded down. Two players tied for most nectar each get 3 (5 plus 2, split two ways), and nobody gets second place. Two players tied for second each get 1. Enter how much nectar each player spent in each habitat and the sheet works this out for you.

The Duet map in the Asia expansion

Duet mode is the two-player game in Wingspan: Asia. Turn on Asia, then Duet mode, and the sheet adds a Duet map row. Find your largest group of connected tokens on the map and score 1 point for each token in it.

The hummingbird track in the Americas expansion

Each player has five hummingbird tracks, one for each group of hummingbirds. At the end of the game you score the points printed beside each marker's position. Markers that never moved far can be worth negative points, so this row accepts a minus sign. Use the Β± button on a phone.

What about the European expansion?

The European expansion adds new birds, bonus cards and goals, but no new scoring category. Its points land in the base game rows, so turning it on does not change the sheet.

Using this score sheet

Do I need to go through every step?

No. Guided entry is there if you want it. You can skip to the score sheet at any point and type straight into the boxes, or tap any row name on the sheet to jump back into guided entry at that category.

What is the mistake offset for?

Someone finds a tucked card they forgot, or realizes a bird was counted twice. Rather than hunting for the right box, add or take away the difference in the mistake offset row. It can be positive or negative.

Are my scores saved?

Yes, in your browser's storage on this device. If you close the tab mid-game, your scores are still there when you come back. Past games are listed under the player setup so you can reopen or delete them. Nothing is sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Can I play solo against the Automa?

Yes. Add a player called Automa and enter its points like anyone else's.

How many players does it support?

One to seven, which covers the base game and the larger player counts from the Asia expansion.
